The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Newsletter 1, Term 6, 9th June 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to school everyone after what I hope was a gentle and restful break for you all. The summer term is always filled with extra activities and we are already making much greater use of the wonderful outdoor areas of St Loys. The children are playing outside on the field most days and enjoying the space and freedom. As the weather warms up please remember to plaster your children in suncream, send them in with a sun hat and ensure that they have a bottle of water to keep hydrated.

This term we look forward to sports day which will be held on Tuesday 20th June from 10am. Please keep the date free. We will send more details next week.

Our Year 6 pupils traditionally this term have much to organise in readiness for Year 7 and transition days begin next week with 5 of our pupils spending the day at Chenderit School on 15th June. Year 6 are also preparing for the end of year production so look out for performance timings for the week beginning 10th July.

Please also look out for copies of the Northampton Chronicle & Echo on next Thursday, 15th June, as our crew of Year 6 should be represented in the Year 6 Leavers section of the newspaper.
