The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Newsletter 26th March 2021

Dear Parents and Carers
It seems we have only just begun to settle back into school routines and we are saying farewell again as we head into the Easter break.  It has, despite being short, been a very purposeful three weeks.  We have completed maths and English assessments for all of the children and this has given us a very useful understanding of the children’s knowledge having had such a disrupted year.  We are now confident in the areas that need to be addressed in our teaching when we come back to school after Easter.  Importantly, the children have benefited tremendously having been able to play, socialise and chat with their friends and their teachers.  It has really been a boost to everyone’s emotional health.  As the spring sunshine brightens up our days and the lockdown roadmap begins to open up from Monday 29th March, I hope that everyone will be able to enjoy a slightly slower pace and appreciate some time outdoors during the Easter break.
