Dear Parents and Carers,
Amidst the frost and ice we have been magically transported to Antarctica this week with huge thanks to our visitor, Graham Roberts, for his wonderful presentation. Mr Roberts has been fortunate to explore northerly sections of Antarctica near the Weddell Sea. His first-hand experiences and stunning photography have helped all of us to understand better the immensity of the landscape in Antarctica and to learn more about life in such a frozen world. It has certainly helped Badgers class to delve more deeply into the science behind how glaciers are formed and the differences between different types of glaciers.
