The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Newsletter 6, Term 4, 31st March 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

Today, as we drew the term to a close, we welcomed Douglas and his parents, Ros and Richard, to the St Loys family. Douglas spent the day with Badgers who were all very happy to welcome another footballing talent and engineering wizard to the class. We hope that Douglas will soon grow to make new friends at St Loys and will be very happy as a Badger.

Easter Celebrations

This weekend marks the occasion of Palm Sunday, the final Sunday before Easter. Christians remember the story of how Jesus entered Jerusalem and everyone waved palm leaves, full of excitement and hope for the future. We began our “Experience Easter” activities on Tuesday at the station “Hopes & Dreams” where we each walked the dusty ‘road’ to Jerusalem with our own palm crosses. The crosses carried our hopes and dreams for the future and our prayers for something that could make the world a better place.
