This week the children have been working on intricate models of Shackleton’s boat The Endurance, the resulting models show great skill and variety, proving that much planning and plenty of ‘trial and error’ thinking (we love this type of thinking) has gone into their creating and building. Their next step is to show how the ship listed as it became trapped in the ice (some of the children plan to use real ice in this recreation!).
