Dear Parents
I did not imagine at the start of this week that I would be writing about the very sad passing of Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II.
Today in school, we felt it was important to help the children process and reflect upon the death of our Queen. On this sad day, we worshipped together and remembered the life of an extraordinary woman.
In worship, we shared images of our Queen and remembered her as an excellent leader who cared deeply about those she led. We prayed for her family as they grieve the loss of a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We prayed for our new King, Charles III, and our country, particularly as we approach this time of mourning and change.
