The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Newsletter 2nd July 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

I am writing to you this week from home.  Unfortunately, whilst I am still healthy and have had both of my Covid vaccinations, I am required to self-isolate for the next 10 days.  Sadly, Martha has been sent home from her school due to a positive Covid case in a member of staff in her class.  Neither of us are ill, but I am afraid I will not be in school until 12th July.  This is a very busy time of year in school and I am very sorry to not be at St Loys. I am particularly sad not to have met with our new Hedgehogs parents today.  I know that Mrs Addison will have looked after you all.  I look forward to seeing you all in September.

Please be assured that I am working from home and will keep in daily contact with the staff team.  If any of you need support from me in any way or simply have a query please do not hesitate to contact me via: head@weedonlois.northants-ecl.gov.uk  I look forward to seeing all of the children on July 12th and to enjoy the end of term activities.

It is true that several local primary schools currently have positive cases and I am ever grateful that St Loys families have worked patiently with staff in our caution to protect everyone as far as possible.  I hope therefore that you will understand our continuing observance of schools’ guidance as we host our end of year events. Let’s all make it to a summer holiday that is healthy, restful and happy.

Mrs Addison and Mrs Watts are of course available as my “wing persons” should you need any help at school next week and will, as always do a fabulous job of looking after our St Loys little folk so beautifully.
