The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Newsletter 9th July 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

I want to thank you all for your patience and understanding this week as the St Loys team have worked with extra energy and responsibility covering in my absence. Hopefully this weekend will be the end of isolation for Martha and I, so I look forward to seeing you all again on Monday, especially as Year 6 will be performing “Treasure Island: the Musical” I hear we are in for a treat!

A huge well done to everyone in school this week as the children stepped into the future for an afternoon to experience a taster of class life in September in new year groups.  There were a few butterflies particularly for those moving to a new teacher after 2 years but they soon fluttered away.  Pre-schoolers who joined Hedgehogs were fabulously brave and experienced two wonderful, happy afternoons meeting new friends and exploring their new world with Mrs Addison.  Thank you to all of the children, who in true St Loys style demonstrated positive attitudes and excellent behaviour.  Well done!
