The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Newsletter 7, Autumn Term, 21st October 2022

Dear Parents & Carers

We have had a wonderful response to Parents Evening with almost 100% of families joining class teachers to discuss childrens’ early progress and their settling in to the new school year. Much research nationwide and beyond, has shown the positive effects of schools and parents continuously working hand-in-hand to support and encourage children’s learning and development. It is proven that children perform better and achieve more when parents are involved in their progress in school. We really value the positive collaborative partnership and the support we have from our St Loys families to encourage each child’s holistic development. Thank you to everyone who attended Parents’ Evening this week and for sharing extra information that really helps us to support your children and help them blossom in school.

Thank you also to our families who joined us at Church on Monday for Harvest Festival.  We received many generous donations of food which will be distributed this week between Brackley and Towcester Food Banks. We enjoyed listening to the children’s poems and prayers and the delicious foods for which Squirrels gave thanks to their families.
