Dear Parents & Carers
I have felt blessed driving to school this week, the sun has shone for us every day and I love seeing the first lambs in the fields. School is surrounded by daffodils and some of the children have even discarded their jumpers in the warmth of the sun. What a wonderful start to Spring!
We have been thinking about our Mothers this week as we remember how much our Mums are loved and how much, even as adults, they do for each of us. Being a Mum requires commitment, selflessness, patience and a barrel-load of unconditional love. I hope that all of you have a special Mothering Sunday whether it is marked with a special cake, breakfast in bed or just a few extra minutes of peace and quiet; may it be full of love and many cuddles from your little folk. As our Bible scripture today shows, whatever your children do to show love and gratitude this Mothering Sunday; a mother loves everything about her children.
