The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Spring Term Newsletter – 4th February 2022

Dear Parents & Carers

This week has certainly shown the caring spirit of St Loys and the love we all have for one another once again! It has felt a little like Groundhog Day as more children and staff have been isolating at home with Covid. I am hoping to be back in school on Monday providing I have two negative tests by then and hopefully Mrs Murray will be recovered as well. Mrs Lawrence has now tested positive and I know a number of our parents have also succumbed to the virus in the last couple of days. We really do send you all our love and hope that no one is suffering too badly.

The staff team, as always, have dug deep and found extra resource within themselves to keep everything at St Loys running as smoothly as possible for the children in school and for that I am very grateful.

Some of the children who have also been poorly with Covid have started to slowly filter back into school so I am hopeful our last week before the half term break will be a full house with everyone in school, fit and healthy. Thank you all for your patience and please be assured that any postponed appointments will be reconvened for next week. For all those of you out there who are still poorly, we send you lots of St Loys love and our very best wishes!
