St Loys attend Chenderit Cricket Festival

A group of 10 enthusiastic Year 5 & 6  children went to Chenderit Secondary School in Middleton Cheney to participate in their Cricket Festival. They joined 5 other schools in a round robin tournament. Each innings was 8 overs with 4 balls per over. Only 8 children played at a time and they swapped around the players. They thoroughly enjoyed their games against Farthinghoe, Greatworth and Middleton Cheney but their toughest match was against Chipping Warden. After a great battle from both sides Chipping Warden came out the victors by 10 runs. Overall Chipping Warden won the tournament and St Loys finished a fantastic third. It is great to take teams to these cluster events and give them experience in different sports. We thank Gail and all her team at Chenderit for a great afternoon of cricket.
