St Loys Wins TAG Rugby Festival

On Thursday 6th October, a team from Year 5 and 6 went to Banbury Rugby Club to retain the trophy from 2015. They had tough competition from Culworth, Chipping Warden and Boddington. After 3 matches of 20 minutes each, St Loys had won all their games. Every member of the 12 strong team had scored at least one try. They had played extremely well and their behaviour was a credit to the school. St  Loys came away, again, the victors and now go on to represent the Chenderit Cluster in the South Northants and Daventry District Finals on 17th November. Unusually the team this year was made up of only boys and now we are encouraging our girls in years 4, 5 & 6 to get involved so that St Loys can compete and go and do their best at the next tournament. Thank you to all the parents who provided transported and supported the children at the festival. For more photos please go to our Gallery (under the News Tab).
