Welcome back to school and a very happy new year to you all. It has been lots of fun listening to the children’s tales from the holidays and hearing about the surprises and gifts from Father Christmas. This week in worship we have shared thoughts about new year resolutions. Mrs Watts talked about the Roman God, Janus and his two faces symbolic of beginnings and endings. The children have reflected upon the past year and considered their best moments and achievements. At St Loys we have been thankful in our prayers for new beginnings and have resolved to make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead.
