This week the children have been working on intricate models of Shackleton’s boat The Endurance, the resulting models show great skill and variety, proving that much planning and plenty of ‘trial and error’ thinking (we love this type of thinking) has gone into their creating and building. The inspiration for our project was the motif from the front of the book ‘Shackleton’s Journey’ by William Grill. We used scale enlargement to each enlarge a piece of the drawing by a scale factor of 4. We worked as a team to make sure our piece matched up to its neighbour as well as possible. Tag Rugby On Thursday 17th November the St Loys Tag Rugby Team which included two girls from Year 4 travelled to Daventry Rugby Club and played five games, we won 3 and lost 2. We got to the final and we played against Bracken Leys Primary School; we are the second best primary school at Tag Rugby out of 93
