The inspiration for our project was the motif from the front of the book ‘Shackleton’s Journey’ by William Grill. We used scale enlargement to each enlarge a piece of the drawing by a scale factor of 4. We worked as a team to make sure our piece matched up to its neighbour as well as possible. Tag Rugby On Thursday 17th November the St Loys Tag Rugby Team which included two girls from Year 4 travelled to Daventry Rugby Club and played five games, we won 3 and lost 2. We got to the final and we played against Bracken Leys Primary School; we are the second best primary school at Tag Rugby out of 93

On Thursday 6th October, a team from Year 5 and 6 went to Banbury Rugby Club to retain the trophy from 2015. They had tough competition from Culworth, Chipping Warden and Boddington. After 3 matches of 20 minutes each, St Loys had won all their games. Every member of the 12 strong team had scored at least one try. They

After many months of hard labour on the allotment. St Loys sees the fruits of their labour awarded at the Weston and Weedon Horticultural Show in September.  At the end of May the children involved in food during creative week went down to the allotment and planted the potatoes and onions which the children were kindly given by the village
